Potato fields are typically desiccated 10 days before harvest. Chemical herbicides like Diquat are still used in Australia that are forbidden in Europe and other countries for this application due to their high toxicity and their residue in potatoes. FireHawk Bioherbicide delivers effective desiccation of potato plants preparing potatoes for mechanical harvest. FireHawk Bioherbicide is an effective desiccant and very suitable for potato desiccation and desiccation of other crops. In addition to its desiccation performance, it is fully biodegradable, leaves no residues, and is people, livestock and environmentally friendly.
